Nestled on 26 acres of beautiful Texas hill country, we are only 30 minutes from the San
Marcos outlet malls, 20 minutes from downtown historic Bastrop and 20 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom
airport. There was a time when every house had a front porch and every porch boasted a rocking chair.
Experience this old time pleasure again at Hideaway Hill. Our bed and breakfast is family owned and
operated. It had always been a dream for Sandy Walthall to operate a bed and breakfast so along with
her mother Ren Veigel and her sister Patty Boles, they made this dream a reality!

We have two cozy bungalows for your stay – one with two guest rooms; king size beds in each and the other
with two guest rooms; 3 twin beds in each. Each bungalow offers private bathroom and distinct country style!
The 4000 sq ft. main house is where guests will be served scrumptious home cooked meals with recipes like
your grandma used to make.

Our 2400 square foot great room in the main house is perfect for entertaining. This room may be reserved for business
